Common mistakes

I do think after double check my blogg, and some of my classmates bloggs, that we made mistakes because we are always without time. We write faster, and sometimes we don’t read what we wrote. Most of the time, we have a lot of spelling mistakes in our writing. Also we weren’t use or we forgot to use capital letters when we have to.

I realized that we have some problems with words. We don’t know how to use it, or we write always the same words. That is a vocabulary problem, because we need to look in our dictionaries for new words, and not use all the time the same expressions.

Finally, I talked with some friends, and for us is difficult to write, because sometimes we mix ideas and we cannot develop them well.
Also we don’t know how to write one word, so that’s why we use the same expressions, verbs and words.
Now our punctuation is better we have improved in that area, I believe.
We have to still practising our writing, which is the only way to improve our skills.

Teachers TV.

I watched a video that got my attention. When we talk about racism, most believe that isn’t a topic anymore, because we are living in a new generation, with not racism discrimination. That would be great, if we think in that way, but we most be realistic. In some schools from all over the world, teachers and students have to deal with these issues “racial bullying”. How I listen in the video, schools doesn’t have a policy to deal with these problems, and teachers are really worry about it, because they doesn’t know how to react, or what to do in those situations. Racial intolerance come´s from their families. In their childhood kids tries to imitate some attitudes from their parents. So its difficult to make them change from one night to another. But in one place where they have to live with different people, from different colors and social stratum, teachers and the school may have to find one way to solve it. Because is hard to listen that one 68,3% said that their schools hasn´t strategys to combat racial intolerance, or worst sometimes teachers live from discrimination, one 10,2% have been bullying by students.

If we compare this situation with our country, we will find similatiries. We know here of several cases of discrimination in their classrooms, and isn´t just racial discrimination. Sometimes this happens, because some kids like to study, read , know a lot about one subject in the school, they look different, or don´t have enogh money.
Also here in Chile schools hasn´t a policy or rules to deal with this.
In this video the propose is to stimulate to the schools to fighting with these important facts and looking for solutions. A good way to star could be with debates, where all the students could expose their points of view. Also train to the teachers, or make a policy where teachers and students now how to react in front of these situations.

Urgent suggestion for the government

Mrs. Bachelet, I am Francisca Rivas.
This communique is directed for the whole society, but has a purpose of being read for you Mrs. President and the government and find a solution.

In our country, we do not have just one relevant problem. But we understand, that we must begin to stop those who are appearing.
I am going to speak about steal in few quantities called ant steal. This type of ant steal, we can see it in supermarkets, small shops, and shops that are in the roads. If we cannot stop this situation, how can we expect to stop big crimes?. In these cases, people who usually steal there, can do it because nobody tries to stop them, or do not want to deal with thieves, because they don not feel save enoght. So thieves can steal with freedom, because no one is watching them. Or they check and the place has not security cameras, so the police could never find them.
We they check all these steps, they start to steal. They leave the shop with small amounts, when that person return to the car someone else enter to the store to steal again small amounts.
If we beging to think all those small thefts can become in something big.
So the govenmet should be concerned and establish more security cameras, security guards and police cars near. Because this type of theft could be the beginning of many new thieves in our country.

I hope that this letter could be of help, and also to inform to or society and the goverment what is happening now in our cities. We expect changes and new methods to deal with this new fashion.
