It is exciting to listen to Dave Eggers, who proposes clear, attainable ideas to improve education.
He says that we must go to a public school and offer our help because students need a personalized help. Education will be better if each student could have one tutor or teacher, with whom they could report it and ask for help when they need it. I say this because most of the time parents don´t have enough time to help them or don´t know how to support them with their homeworks.

It is important how Dave takes the personalized education as a priority because every child has different concerns and worries. Moreover they need a suitable space to study and to concentrate, because at home they are watching tv or doing their homework without giving them importance.
It would be excellent if in the schools the number of students in each classroom decrease , because children need attention, and in their classroom these days they don´t have it. Besides if we want motivated and active students, the best alternative is that the teachers have to communicate with their students and let them know that they are important and intelligent.

Finally, here in Chile, we must incorporate these practices, because those are for the benefit of the school community and of the students.

Wow that's very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI wish we could see that here... at least we could have lessons with less students.
Have you noticed how hard is try to catch 45 students's attention?
It's so difficult, isn't?
Have a nice day,
